Louis Leitz Foundation

The Louis Leitz Foundation was founded in November 2001 by the descendants of the inventor and entrepreneur Louis Leitz in Stuttgart as a charitable foundation under civil law.

The purpose of the Foundation is the promotion of people in obtaining education, training and work. It works as a charitable foundation, by supporting non-profit organizations in the implementation of selected projects at home and abroad. A local focus is on projects in Stuttgart.

For the project "VTC Bomangombe" of founder Eberhard Leitz the foundation doesn't use any own funds. The foundation collects all donations for the project and transfers the money - according to Eberhard Leitz's specifications - to ALCP Africa or pays for goods in Germany and for their transport to Tanzania. Furthermore, the foundation controls the correct use of the donations.
